Cuesta College Plant Sale

San Luis Obispo County, Calif. – Cuesta College invites the community to its ninth annual Plant Science plant sale, taking place on April 10, 11, and 13, featuring a wide variety of plants grown by students in the college’s agriculture program.

A longtime favorite for local gardeners and plant enthusiasts, the sale includes popular options such as tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, squash, melons, cucumbers, herbs, and additional varieties.

“Support Cuesta College’s Agriculture Department by purchasing a vibrant, student-grown plant,” said Plant Propagation Instructor Jennifer Schriber. “Students in the Plant Propagation class gain hands-on experience in nursery and greenhouse production by seeding, transplanting, and managing the growth of all plants for sale.”

Through the course, students develop real-world skills while growing healthy vegetable starts for the community, connecting classroom learning to hands-on practice in sustainable agriculture.

All plants must be preordered.

How To Order

Proceeds directly support the Cuesta College Agriculture Plant Science program, helping expand hands-on learning opportunities in plant, soil, and water sciences while preparing students to build their future in agriculture and related fields.
