2026 Student Annual Art Exhibition

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cuesta College presents its 2026 Student Annual Art Exhibition from April 16 through May 22 in the Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery, showcasing original student work from the Fine Arts program.

The exhibition highlights a wide range of artistic disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, digital art, and graphic design. Admission is free and open to the public, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 16, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

A longstanding tradition at Cuesta College, the Student Annual Art Exhibition celebrates the creativity, technical skill, and growth of emerging artists from across the Central Coast. The show offers community members the opportunity to experience student work in a professional gallery setting while supporting arts education and local talent.

“This exhibition reflects the incredible dedication and creativity of our students,” said Timothy Stark, coordinator of the Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery. “Visitors will see an impressive range of artistic styles and media, from traditional techniques to innovative digital work. It’s inspiring to witness how our students push boundaries and develop their unique artistic voices.”

All works are by current Cuesta College students, drawing on various Fine Arts courses and providing student artists with valuable, real-world exhibition experience.

The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery is located in Building 7100 on the San Luis Obispo campus and is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
