UPDATED March 14, 2020

In alignment with the efforts of Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo County Schools to reduce the spread of coronavirus, Cuesta College will move to online course delivery beginning Mar. 19.

“There are no identified cases of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County, but heightened measures to protect our community are being enacted,” said Dr. Jill Stearns, Cuesta College Superintendent / President. “The COVID-19 Planning Team has been working with Cuesta College Federation of Teachers (CCFT) leaders throughout this time of uncertainty and I appreciate the calm, student-centered, perspective that has guided decision-making,”

Classes are suspended, and will not meet, Monday, Mar. 16 through Wednesday, Mar. 18. The suspension includes Community Programs for those dates only. The Children's Centers are closed Mar. 16 through Mar. 29.

Cuesta College campuses will remain open for student support services and to train students and faculty on online tools and other technologies beginning at noon on Monday, Mar. 16. Training schedules and locations are still to be determined.

More information is forthcoming. Students and employees are encouraged to read their emails for further updates and instructions.
