Adults with Disabilities
The Continuing Education Department’s, Adults with Disabilities Program AWD provides students the opportunity to work on academic and professional skill development through FREE courses that foster a culture of empowerment, goal-setting and individualized motivation. Our program offers an array of subjects year-round which include the following:
- Keyboard and Typing toward Professional Certificates of Achievement
- Mastering Microsoft Technologies and Software for Academic & Professional Use
- Academic Skill Development
- SMART Goal Setting
- Self-Management & Development
- Personalized Career Planning
Courses are open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Courses are specifically designed to address the needs of students with a variety of cognitive, physical, or neurologic conditions.
