Before applying for DSPS services you must have applied to Cuesta College and have
a myCuesta login.
Upload documentation verifying your disability using the DSPS Online Portal (AIM).
If the documentation submitted does not have all the required information in it, you
will receive an email requesting additional information.
Optional: Allow DSPS to communicate with someone other than you about your DSPS information
If you would like DSPS staff to be able to communicate with someone other than you
about your DSPS information, you must complete a DSPS FERPA Form.
The DSPS FERPA Form is different than the general Cuesta College FERPA form. For general information
about FERPA, please go to Family Education Rights and Privacy Act.
After completing the application and uploading your documentation, the DSPS office
will contact you through email to set up an intake appointment. Currently, intake
appointments are done on the phone or with Zoom video conferencing software.
