Online Teacher Certification Courses:

The Online Education Committee has developed a 12-week online facilitated course designed to get you up and running with course design, accessibility and managing your online course!  View the Course Descriptions. The course is offered every semester (Fall, Spring and Summer), and starts around the second week of the semester- preregistration is required! Email to register.

Prior to teaching online (recommended to complete two semesters prior to assignment), all faculty interested in teaching online are required to meet teaching qualifications according to AP4105 and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This course was designed to meet the requirement to be eligible to teach Cuesta College Distance Education courses as stated in AP4105. Chair and Dean approval is necessary to take the course; please complete the request form and submit to your chair and dean.
