Inventions of Nature
Dive into the world of biomimicry- the science of mimicking nature to solve human problems. Investigate how nature solves problems through hands-on activities. Learn how to get water from beetles, how to float from seeds, and be aerodynamic from whales! Then apply those ideas to designing and building a model of your own invention!

I have 7 years of experience teaching energy science through my job with the Cuesta Sustainability Resource Center. I am passionate about finding fun ways for students to engage in hands-on learning to better understand our world. My favorite aspect of this work is allowing students to experiment and watching their great ideas put into motion! |
