Inventions of Nature
Dive into the world of biomimicry- the science of mimicking nature to solve human problems. Investigate how nature solves problems through hands-on activities. Learn how to get water from beetles, how to float from seeds, and be more aerodynamic from whales! Then we will apply those ideas to designing and building your own invention!

I have 7 years of experience teaching energy science through my job with the Cuesta Sustainability Resource Center. I am passionate about finding fun ways for students to engage in hands-on learning to better understand our world. My favorite aspect of this work is allowing students to experiment and watching their great ideas put into motion! |
