SAFETY INFORMATION FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS

Welcome back to the CPAC! We are committed to ensuring you have an exceptional live performance experience, with confidence in the policies and procedures designed to keep our community safe.

Cuesta College’s top priority is to maintain the well-being and health of our students and employees, while supporting student completion of their educational goals. Constant communication with public health experts and the chancellor’s office to ensures that our campus is aligned with their recommendations, as the COVID-19 emergency requires ongoing changes to our campus operations.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and students, Cuesta College follows the guidance of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and with the CDC. In alignment with CDC and CDPH, the updated recommendation on July 28th recommends masking in public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. Vaccine mandates are still in effect and indoor masking requirements are posted in each campus area. For college wide updates, please visit Cuesta Colleges COVID-19 Updates and Resources page.

IMPROVED AIR QUALITY

Cuesta College Safe Reopening Measures are being supported by two key elements:  Bipolar Ionization Systems for HVAC airflow and Air Purifiers in common areas. The CPAC is thoroughly outfitted with both!

Just to include a few main features, the Bipolar Ionization Systems: supports particle reduction and smoke control, neutralizes odors by destroying VOCs, deactivates pathogens (Bacteria, Viruses, Mold), helps to control allergens/asthma; while new Air Purifiers have Medical Grade HEPA filters that effectively remove 95% of airborne viruses that are 0.1 microns and larger and efficiently removes a wide range of airborne pollutants and allergens, including dust, pollen, chemicals and gases.
