SAFETY INFORMATION FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS

Welcome back to the CPAC! We are committed to ensuring you have an exceptional live performance experience, with confidence in the policies and procedures designed to keep our community safe.

Cuesta College’s top priority is to maintain the well-being and health of our students and employees, while supporting student completion of their educational goals. Constant communication with public health experts and the chancellor’s office to ensures that our campus is aligned with their recommendations, as the COVID-19 emergency requires ongoing changes to our campus operations.

Thank you to everyone who helped keep our students and staff safe when vaccine checks, negative tests, and face masks were required to attend our indoor events.

As of May 21, 2022, the vaccine requirement was rescinded. This means:

  • employees, students, and visitors will not need proof of vaccine or negative test to be cleared for campus;
  • Cleared4 will no longer be used;
  • testing is limited to cases of close contact as directed by Cuesta College or medical personnel including Public Health.

Masks are welcome, and will be made available in the CPAC lobby, but are no longer required for indoor events. For college wide updates, please visit Cuesta Colleges COVID-19 Updates and Resources page.

IMPROVED AIR QUALITY

Cuesta College Safe Reopening Measures are being supported by two key elements:  Bipolar Ionization Systems for HVAC airflow and Air Purifiers in common areas. The CPAC is thoroughly outfitted with both!

Just to include a few main features, the Bipolar Ionization Systems: supports particle reduction and smoke control, neutralizes odors by destroying VOCs, deactivates pathogens (Bacteria, Viruses, Mold), helps to control allergens/asthma; while new Air Purifiers have Medical Grade HEPA filters that effectively remove 95% of airborne viruses that are 0.1 microns and larger and efficiently removes a wide range of airborne pollutants and allergens, including dust, pollen, chemicals and gases.

Purchasing a ticket to an indoor event confirms that you have read and agree to Cuesta College's safety measures. Please stay home if you are symptomatic, and let us know if you are unable to attend for this reason after purchasing a ticket.
