Exploring Music: Popular Songs from 1950 to Today
Take a musical journey through the decades as we listen to popular songs of each era! You will discover the types of songwriting, instrumentation and recording that made each era unique. By listening and analyzing, we will study the birth of rock n roll in the 50s, the groovy tunes of the 60s, the disco and hard-rock styles of the 70s, the new wave of the 80s, the Alternative of the 90s, and all the way to the modern music of today!
