Have you ever wanted to write music but have no idea where to begin? In Beginning Music Theory, you will learn everything you need to know about writing songs, from what a note is and how to read it, to how to make chords sound good together. No previous music experience required!

Shari Perlstein recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University with her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She has played the flute for 17 years and has taken several courses on music composition and music theory. This will be her second summer working with Cuesta Summer College For Kids and she is very excited to return. |
