Prior to the first class meeting, students may add classes online and enroll in an available seat or waitlist slot for a closed/full class. Once a course begins, only the instructor may authorize enrollment by issuing the student an add code if there are seats available at the first class meeting.  Students must enter add codes online by the add deadline, which is the day prior to the census date. The census date is the date course enrollment is reported to the State for apportionment funding.  Add codes must be entered by the student online in myCuesta within the add deadline to officially enroll in a course. Add codes will not be accepted online or at in-person registration prior to the first class meeting as the waitlist is in operation.

To add a course online, students login to myCuesta and go to the Student Self Service portlet then click on "Register for Classes."  Select term, then locate 5-digit course reference number (CRN) for the course Find Classes or go to Enter CRNs if you have the CRN ready.   Click "Add to Summary" or "Add" link then go to Summary (lower right) and click "Submit" to process. If course needs add code, a box will appear to enter the 6-digit add code.   Add codes have letters that are case-sensitive and must be entered in caps.  How to register in myCuesta (PDF) or watch video tutorial.
