Non Cook Playdough Recipe:

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
1 Tbs Cream of Tartar
3 Tbs oil
2 Cups hot water

Combine flour, salt and cream or tartar in a bowl. Mix and make a "well", then add oil. Pour hot water (we wait for the whistle on the tea kettle to know that it is hot enough) into oil well and then mix. Playdough will be sticky at first. Continue to mix until dough forms. Remove from bowl and knead. If playdough is still sticky add flour while kneading till desired consistency is achieved.

To add scents: replace 1 tbs of oil for 1 tbs essential oil. Or add powdered drink mix (Kool-Aid) to flour mixture.
