Hey, student parents! Looking for resources to help you succeed in college? Look no further – Cuesta College has got you covered!

Our Children's Center offers on-campus day care. There is also the SLO County Child Care Resource Connection (CCRC), operated by CAPSLO. 
In addition to groceries and other essentials, our Food Pantry offers free parenting supplies like diapers and formula (depending on availability).

Starting in Spring 2024, student parents who complete the online orientation, orientation and educational plan with an academic counselor will qualify for the earliest possible priority registration.

A Lactation Room for nursing parents is available on the North County Campus in Room N2433 and on the San Luis Campus in Room 5125A.  Please contact Human Resources to schedule the rooms in 30-45 minute blocks, as needed. Contact Human Resources at 805-546-3129 and hr@cuesta.edu. 

Student parents might also qualify for up to up to $3,417 through the California Earned Income Tax Credit and up to  $1,083 through the Young Child Tax Credit and nutrition education, breastfeeding support and healthy foods through the  WIC program.

And, of course, all of our other student services, like EOPS, CARE and CalWorks are open to student parents, as well.
