This Manual Photography class is aimed at those who want to go beyond simply taking pictures in some kind of ‘auto’ mode. Ginger offers the same, informal & hands-on approach. We will look at specific situations where we know we will get a better outcome if shooting in manual mode. We will practice in class every meeting so that it becomes second nature. We will learn how to prioritize which is more important for your pictures - aperture or shutter speed and how to leverage ISO to get the result we want. We will be looking especially at low light conditions given the time of year, and early sunset. A DSLR is required for this class. Students should have a good understanding of aperture, shutter speed & ISO, and/or have taken the previous Beginners class by the same instructor.
First and last meetings will be in the classroom with field trips to TBD location weeks 2 and 3.
