Photoshop Basics Series
Photoshop Basics uses the Adobe Classroom in a Book technique to enable intuitive step by step learning to edit digital image files for maximum creative success. Coupled with almost real-time access to an expert instructor, this online course is maximized for students wishing to improve their editing skills or learn new ones for personal or business development.
All course tutorials will be shared on the first date of each class and the instructor will be available for group Q&A each Monday from 6:00-8:00pm. Additionally, the instructor will provide one-on-one support as needed between the hours of 9am and 8pm each day.
Part I (9/21-10/19) covers the basics of tools, selection, layers, and builds an understanding of the concepts and techniques of Adobe Photoshop CC for creative post editing of digital images. You should also be familiar with the mouse and standard menus and commands, and also how to open, save, and close files.
Part II (10/26-11/23) covers more advanced use of tools, selection, layers and builds an understanding of more advanced concepts and techniques of Adobe Photoshop CC for creative post editing of digital images. Requires basic level skills in Photoshop operations including, layers, selections, masks and tools.
For this class you will need to purchase Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Classroom in a Book, Adobe Press (available on Amazon.com). Also, a monthly subscription to the software, Adobe Photoshop CC ($9.95, available on Adobe.com).
