Minecraft Esports Tournament
AGES: 9 - 13 years
Do your kids love Minecraft? Let us take them to the next level as we introduce them to the world of Esports. Students will:
- Get a copy of Minecraft Java/ Bedrock Edition they can use on any PC after the class.
- Design their own custom character skin
- Learn how to play Minecraft Java edition on a computer using a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller or on an iPad
- Learn how to play capture the wool
- Practice offensive and defensive moves
- Plan offensive and defensive strategies on a variety of maps
- Practice effective communication with teammates
- Work in a team to achieve the goal of capturing the wool
- Scrimmage another team
- Create a team name and logo
- Learn about playing and coaching esports.
- Play in a tournament against another team
Group A will meet Monday and Wednesday night for instruction and practice.
Group B will meet Tuesday and Thursday night for instruction and practice.
Groups A and B will meet together Friday night for the tournament.
