Advanced CyberCamp

AGES: 12-17

This course will focus on more advanced concepts and techniques related to Cyber Security. Using the Cyber Patriot curriculum students will be exposed to a variety of topics including: Security Management, Digital Forensics, Hacking Techniques, Cryptography, Coding, Linux and Windows machines, and Networking. The advanced camp is geared towards students who have prior cyber security knowledge and experience. Students will learn basic Graphical Utilities for Windows and Linux, Advanced Command Line, Networking, as well as how to harden networks running Windows and Ubuntu operating systems. Daily sessions include instructor demonstrations, team-oriented research, hands- on lab activities, plus peer team building. The Cyber Camp culminates in an exciting final team competition that simulates real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals.
